Spring/Summer 2010

With an unshowy style, this trend puts the object back in its rightful place. Design has a humble approach where imperfection is encouraged. Natural materials, especially wood, are brought indoors in a new raw format. Texture and pattern is also tree influenced, from age rings, moss covered bark, winter tree silhouettes and fallen leaves. These designs are seen as fabrics and wallpaper, sometimes with understated metallic elements.
Coppice Colours
The humble palette of natural and relaxed shades has a washed and weathered feel. Woodland inspired neutral tones are combined with coloured shadows, adding depth whilst remaining calm and unchallenging.
